We just got back from a week long vacation in Kauai, HI!! Just the husband and I for an entire week? What were going to do?! Well, lounge, hang out on the beach, not change a single diaper...is basically what we did :) We had a FABULOUS time and loved every minute of it. Of course we did miss our kids like crazy...but were thankful that we have such amazing parents (who took care of them for us) so that we didn't have to worry too much about them. We definitely came home feeling rejuvenated and ready to conquer the world! Back to reality. Chris and I both talked about how we want to live somewhere warm all year round someday. We do enjoy the snow and skiing...but I would much rather just visit the snow :) Anyway, since posts are way more exciting with pictures, here are some from our trip! We miss the sun already...and my sunburn is going away. :( The first day we ventured to Waimea Canyon. It was a foggy day but nonetheless, beautiful.

It's amazing how green and lucsious all the plants are over there. You quickly realize why as it rains at least everyday, if not numerous times a day. (We got lucky this trip and seemed to dodge the rain almost everywhere we went)

Thursday we went on a 6 hour sail boat tour. This was our favorite thing we did. There were TONS of whales (like literally 100 or more) and they came super close to the boat. The waves were too intense for snorkeling but we loved it anyway.
