7 wks old!

Tomorrow Corbin will be 7 weeks old. Holy COW has the time flown by. So we randomly decided to go by him a cute outfit to get pictures taken in...and the nice little gal at baby gap kindly informed us that kiddy kandids prints your pictures off right after they take them! So what did we do? We of course went and had his picture taken. Here are some of the DARLING ones we got of him and his ridiculously cute outfit. (Chris picked it out too...i was impressed!)


They turned out SO cute, I just love them! He was soo sleepy we couldn't even wake him up...but the photographer finally got him to open his eyes just long enough to snap the middle picture!

Also, my husband had his 29th birthday on Thursday...and I just want to let him know how much I love him and appreciate EVERYTHING he does for me and Corbin. I couldn't be happier with our relationship and I love how we always laugh together. He's the best thing thats ever happened to me! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!

Yesterday I jumped on the scale at the gym and then added Corbin after because I couldn't wait any longer to find out how much he weighs now! He weighed in at 10lbs 2oz! (well, if i can do math like i think i can...) Our little guy is getting so big! He has trouble getting those poopies to come out sometimes...and I never thought I would be so excited to see a poopy diaper. ha. I wonder if it is because we give him 1 bottle of formula every day? I have heard that formula is harder for their little bodies to digest. All I know is that it is sad watching him grunting trying to push them out.





My brother in law Mike bought us a late wedding present...but perhaps our favorite gift yet! (by the way I love how we are still receiving wedding gifts :) He was VERY generous and bought both Chris and I new cruiser bikes! We went to the bike store yesterday and picked out our favorite ones and got to come home with them! I can't wait to ride them around...its hard because we can't take the baby with us yet so we will just have to take turns riding around the neighborhood.

5 weeks old today!

Man I can't believe he is already 5 weeks old. I haven't had time to post anything new until now! We have been really busy with our little baby and trips to McCall every weekend! But we are having a blast showing Corbin our favorite vacation only 2 hours away! It is nice because if I feed him right before we hop in the car he will sleep the whole way there :) Chris's parents just built a brand new cabin so we have been helping (well more like Chris has been helping) them get all settled in while I take care of the baby. Every time I turn around it seems as if Corbin is ready to eat again! He is getting so big right before my eyes. :( We have only taken him to 1 Dr. appt so far..and he had gained a pound in a week! So the Dr. said we didn't need to bring him back until he is 2 months old. I am guessing he weighs about 11 lbs. now. He is an oinker!! So he had his first boat ride a few weekends ago and he loved it! The loud humming of the engine put him right to sleep. Daddy put him under the steering wheel to be sure he wasn't going anywhere! (I will post pictures so you can see what I mean) We are also getting REALLY excited because the past 4 nights in a row Corbin has slept for 5 hours! It is so nice being able to sleep and not get up every 2 hours anymore. After the long 5 hour sleep session he is up every 2 1/2-3 hours again though. But that is fine with me! He is such a good baby...it is hard to imagine our lives with out him already!

I am trying to do one big update...but its pretty hard to sum up 5 weeks. So I will just start here and when I think of important things I will update again! Otherwise we will just go from here on out.
