She's here!

Kinlee Jo Christensen arrived yesterday afternoon at 2pm! 8 lbs 8 oz, 20 inches! She is so sweet and looks a lot like Corbin did when he was a baby. We had a successful VBAC and mommy and baby are doing great. I was supposed to be induced at 7am yesterday morning but started having strong contractions around 10pm thurs night. By 1am I woke chris up and told him it was time! We checked into the hospital at 1:30am and I was dilated to 3cm. They had us walk around for an hour and then they checked me again...3 1/2 cm. Then they put me in a jacuzzi tub for the next two hours and if I didn't have any cervical change they were going to send me home. Finally... 4cm and my cervix moved forward! Yay we were off to our room! Shortly after they gave me the epidural. Contractions started to slow down so they started me on pitocin. About 3 hours later the contractions were strong again and all of a sudden I felt a lot of pressure down there... The nurse came in and checked me and we were at 7.5 cm!! Woohoo! About 45 min later she checked me again and I was a 9.5! We started pushing about 20 min later and after about 45 minutes of pushing she arrived! Dr Hodges asked if I wanted to pull her out after head and shoulders were out and I said yes. It was the craziest feeling finally seeing my baby girl and getting to hold her so soon :) since I had a c-section w corbin I didn't get to hold him right away. It was an amazing experience to say the least and I am so happy the recovery time will be so much shorter and better. Gotta go love on my precious new baby girl now... We will post pictures soon! Oh and Corbin is a great big brother so far...gives her sweet little kisses and loves! I love my family and I couldn't have done it without Chris. Thanks for being so supportive babe... Love you more than words could ever explain!
