Me at 30 wks!

A lot has been happening around here and i have very little photo evidence! :( We have been slacking big time on taking pictures lately...which is part of the reason I never update this thing!

For starters lets update you on Corbin. He is 19 months...will be 20 months in a few days! He is getting so big and smart! He now plays with his blocks all the time and stacks them everywhere. We read the same 2 books over and over again. They are his favorite. One of the books is for him to "find" stuff in and we can't believe how much he knows! He can pick out the bed, window, fish, bear, pig, dog, sock, pillow, water, etc. Oh and he is OBSESSED with puppies. It might not even be a puppy....it could be a full grown dog but our lil' guy will yell "puppy!" and point until one of us turns and looks. He can also spot a fishy ("sishy!") anywhere as well. I had this water bottle that he kept pointing at saying "sishy! sishy!" and I kept thinking No, there is no fish in my water bottle! Then sure enough I look at it more closely and on the back of the outside label (so through the water bottle u can see) there is a picture of a little fish! That kid doesn't miss anything. We love it!

Funny story from last night...well, a little background first. Corbin has had a rough month of being sick! It start out with him getting croup (a nasty weird cough) and then that turning into pretty much the flu. He had a runny nose and cough for about 2 weeks after that and random spurts of having super high fevers...like in the 103-104 degree temps! One night he threw up and had such a high fever that we took him to the emergency room...only to find out there was nothing they could really do for him. STILL not getting better I took him to his Dr. about a week later and she told us he had a sinus infection! Poor kid! So finally after some antibiotics our little buddy is feeling way better and is finally getting back to his normal sleeping routine. He slept in our bed almost every night for a few wks there. We would start him out in his bed...but then around 1-2am I would hear this "mama!" "mama!" (He also just yells for me now...no more crying to get our attention...its too cute) So then I would get him and bring him to bed. So last night after Chris gave him a bath and we got him all ready for bed I told him it was time for bed. He immediately ran off and I thought he was just trying to hide so he didn't have to go to bed. Then I walked around the corner into our bedroom to find him on our bed...under the covers...laying on my pillow! Like, "I'm in bed mom!" It was the funniest thing ever and we both couldn't stop laughing.

Chris and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary on Feb 23rd! Megan came and watched Corbin for us and we got to go to dinner at the Melting Pot! YUMMY! (Thanks Gary for the gift card :) Chris has been busy with work and going to the gym every morning at 7! Thats motivation I tell ya! I sure love that guy and how hard he works for our family.

I will be 31 weeks tomorrow...still can't stop saying how fast it is going! My baby shower is going to be March 27th and then we will have a baby here a month later! AHHH! Anyway, theres a quick update on our fam.
